Set aside technology during "family" time
As a Mom, I know there is pressure to get 20 million things done at once and this doesn't mean just during the day with whatever "work" you might have to do, but during the evening for dinner or while the kids are playing or while your husband is watching television. However, this only causes Mom to become disconnected from the rest of the family and easily become overwhelmed. I have found that it is easy for me to do "work" by picking up my iPad, sitting on the couch and drowning myself in the topics of the day. My daughter and husband should never be asking for my attention because I am fully involved in what is going on in the lives of others.
Celebrate and Move Forward
As many may know, I have some free time each day to spend in the gym. I have also been gluten-free for almost a year now. Therefore, I have been able to lose some weight. However, I feel better than I ever have physically and need to keep that momentum going. Not only by recognizing my accomplishments thus far but by having a clear picture of what I want to accomplish moving forward
Debt Snowball
Dave Ramsey, your debt snowball is calling! Call it forced by job loss, budgeting priorities, a new home payment or just the desire to have financial peace... but this is the year for our family to focus on debt elimination and work on a plan to succeed! Wish us luck!

Learn more about this thing called "blogging"
I started this blog as a way to be "creative" and as an outlet for me to share random thoughts and such. Now, I have realized that blogging is a major industry and I am, in fact, very intrigued to learn more!
A book that I came across that I will definitely be checking out this month: Blog Inc. by Joy Cho
