A desire to see the positive

It started with an idea on ways to look for the positive...

 

I have decided to choose local individuals throughout our community who are striving to become a better friend, a better family member, a better wife/husband, a better mother/father or just a better person overall. Those that I would consider to be "inspirational" in their own way.

I am often reminded that we tend to go about our day, which is constantly flooded with the problems in the world or what we do not like about our neighborhoods or those that surround us. However, I do know that there are folks out there that sometimes go unnoticed and may not be involved in high profile jobs or positions (or perhaps they are) but are going about each day trying to make a difference in their lives and those closest to them.

With that said, I will choose individuals that have inspired me already and hope to meet even more people that will have an effect, both big on small, on the remainder of my life.... will post the first honoree soon!
