What a great way to end a not so great day. In working on our new study for my small group, I learned things that I never knew before, gained a new perspective on the hardships that happen in life and that being part of a family doesn't always mean that we can't continue to grow in our life.
Although I have done studies before, I have never connected to the Word of God and to Beth Moore as I am now. I feel that God has been speaking to me over the past year and I feel like my eyes have been opened and it is finally time for me to get over my own insecurities, faults and other things that are holding me back and commit to the fact that I need to become fully immersed in His word and His plan for me.
One of the best things that I heard Beth say in the study, so far, is the following: (please excuse my paraphrasing)
"Life may be challenging but does not have to be empty. For that emptiness makes way for grace"
Profound! Profound! Profound! If there ever was a quote that I needed to hear at this time in my life... Boy, that was it! You're killing me God and Beth Moore!
"Life may be challenging but does not have to be empty. For that emptiness makes way for grace"
And I will leave it at that...
